Who am I

My name is Judy, I’m a sports enthusiast and commited teacher in all kinds of surf & board sports. I'd like to invite you to learn or improve your KITESURFING, WINDSURFING, SURFING or SUP with me - in a professional personal coaching. I specialize in private and semi-private lessons because it's the most efficient way of learning and I'd like to provide a top quality teaching with maximum learning progress, fun and safety.

I’d especially like to encourage more ladies to dip into the world of Kitesurfing, Windsurfing or Surfing that yet didn’t dare to or haven’t found the appropriate atmosphere to do so – you should really give it a go with a female instructor! Of course men are equally welcome in my lessons and will also profit from my experience.

Profound education and knowledge from a lifetime as an athlete, more than 15 years of teaching experience in all kinds of snow & water sports and being a woman ;-) make the difference in my coaching. No matter if man or woman - with me you will find a passionate and patient trainer who will teach you at your own pace in a safe and stress-free environment - heaps of positive energies included!

My story

I’ve dedicated my life to sports and always loved teaching to share this passion with others. So after school and studies I left Germany and started travelling Europe, learning languages while working as skiing & snowboarding instructor in winter and watersports instructor in summer. I constantly improved my skills in all kinds of board sports, gaining international teaching experience and accumulating various trainer licences. After travelling six years between Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Chile and Austria I settled for another six years on Fuerteventura (Canary Islands), living the endless summer thanks to the island’s great wind and wave conditions all year round. By chance I came back to Tarifa 2014 were I actually started my watersports career 15 years ago and instantly fell in love again with this paradise place I now call home. Over all the years working for different schools as instructor, head instructor or center manager my lifetime dream was to finally have a small business of my own, being able to fully do things my way. So here I am with LA SURFERA – female Surfsports - now in Europe’s wind capital Tarifa (Andalucia / Spain).
